Give the Gift of Gobble this Thanksgiving!

The River Food Pantry needs your help providing Thanksgiving turkeys to our clients.  There are no turkeys available this year from our partner food banks, our source in the past.  We would love to see our clients get a turkey, so we’re setting a goal of collecting 1000 turkeys to give away! Would you consider donating a turkey to The River to help a family in need have an abundant Thanksgiving?

We also serve hundreds of Thanksgiving dinners with all the trimmings the Friday before Thanksgiving and we need your help supplying the turkeys for this meal.

Three ways you can help us give the gift of gobble:

  • Donate a turkey by Friday, November 9 that will be served up a week later for the annual River Thanksgiving Feast. We need 20-25 turkeys for our dinner.
  • Donate a turkey by Monday, November 19 at 5pm (at the latest), to be distributed to our client families for their own Thanksgiving celebrations. We are aiming for 1000 turkeys! Feel free to include all the trimmings!
