"I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to volunteer. It was my first experience volunteering at the River Food Pantry and it definitely will not be my last. You were so welcoming and friendly. You truly run a top notch organization. The system is well planned out, the selection of available items was amazing and you have a great staff of volunteers. I had a lot of fun and I think the work you do for the community is wonderful."

Introducing...The Power of 10

10

With every $10 donated,The River can give away $100 worth of food. We call this effect the Power of 10. Every financial gift to The River has exponential giving power. That means for every $50 donated we can give away $500 worth of food, for every $100 donated we can give away $1000 worth of food, for every $500 donated...you get the idea.

"How does the Power of 10 work?" "How can I make a Power of 10 donation?" To get answers to these questions and more, you can read on here.

For those of you who need no further explanation, feel free to click the donate button on the top of the page.

Thank you for considering giving a gift to The River that will yeild the Power of 10.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
