"I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to volunteer. It was my first experience volunteering at the River Food Pantry and it definitely will not be my last. You were so welcoming and friendly. You truly run a top notch organization. The system is well planned out, the selection of available items was amazing and you have a great staff of volunteers. I had a lot of fun and I think the work you do for the community is wonderful."

Working on New Year's Resolutions? Check out Well Expo 2012 (and help The River)

Wanting to get healthy in 2012? Get some inspiration at the Well Expo at Alliant Energy Center on January 28-29. There are two ways you can attend the Expo and help The River:
  1. Buy your tickets to the Well Expo at The River (cash or check only please). Tickets are $5 each.  The Well Expo is donating the entire proceeds of all tickets sold at The River toward the purchase of food for our pantry!
  2. Get into the Well Expo on Sunday, Jan 29 for free with a donation at the door of 2 non-perishable food items, to be donated to The River.
