Frequently asked questions

1. Do the items in the “preferred area” count towards my weight? A: Yes. We will weigh all of the non-perishable items in your car, including preferred items.

2. Do I have to bring my verification every time? A: Yes. Your must bring your River Food Pantry Access Card everytime. If you have not received a card yet, please let us know.

3. What if my address or household size changes? A: Just let us know and we will make the change! If your address changes, be sure to bring proof of your new address. If your household size increases, be sure to bring proof of household size for the new person.

4. Where can I get information on other food pantries? A: Call United Way at 2-1-1.
