Due to the Excessive Heat Warning, The River Food Pantry is making the following adjustments to continue serving those in need while also protecting people’s health and food quality:
- Munch Mobile Meals: Canceled Tuesday, Aug. 22–Thursday, Aug. 24.
- Curbside Groceries & FAM (Family At-Home Meals): Rescheduled to 10am–1pm on Wednesday, Aug. 23 and Thursday, Aug. 24. We will follow our regular hours from 10am–3pm on Friday, Aug. 25.
- Pantry Express: Running on Saturday, Aug. 26 from 11am–2pm.
- Food NOW (Nights or Weekends): Our emergency food locker program provides a limited supply of food whenever The River is closed. The after-hours lockers are located on the front of our building on Darwin Road.
If you receive an overnight box, food from a locker, or visit Pantry Express, it will not count towards your weekly visit to The River. Please check our website and social media for updates.
