What a game-day win! Sips & Slices: A Tailgate Taste-off for The River brought the community together for food, fun, and purpose during Hunger Action Month.
Over 200 fans packed The East Side Club on Sunday, September 14, for the ultimate foodie tailgate, sampling dishes from 11 chef + celebrity teams and voting for their MVP. Best Tailgate Slice went to Chef Edwin Ramirez of Cento and Noelle & Adedokun Adedoyin of Friendly Black Foodies, Team Sizzle & Soul (Team Cuban)!
The event raised over $100,000, thanks to the unwavering support of our incredible community. A heartfelt THANK YOU to our sponsors, participating chefs and celebrities, partners, donors, volunteers, event committee members, and everyone who attended for making this third annual fundraiser a huge success!
Together, we turned a Sunday tailgate into a championship moment for local families.
