A New Market Session—Just for Seniors | The River Food Pantry

Starting May 1, The River Food Pantry will introduce a new senior market session for clients ages 60 and over on Wednesdays from 11 am to 1 pm.

Similar to other regular weekly market sessions at The River, senior clients will have an opportunity to shop for free groceries and clothing, as well as enjoy a free community meal.

“We decided to add a weekly market session just for seniors because we wanted to provide them with more flexibility and convenience,” said Charles McLimans, The River’s President and CEO.

First-time visitors who would like to register as new clients must bring proof of address and identification for each member in their household. Learn more about registration requirements here.
