Food Drive Blitz

The River Food Pantry had a very sucessful one-day Food Drive Blitz on Saturday, April 30th.

Volunteers were located at 5 local grocery stores handing out a list of needed items to interested shoppers. Shoppers would then purchase items and drop them off on their way out of the grocery store.

The River collected:

1,711lbs of food and household items

Thanks to the following grocery stores for partnering with The River for the food drive blitz:

Also, a special thank you Thrivent Financial for partnering with The River for the one-day Food Drive Blitz.

With every $10 donated to The River, we can give $100 worth of food to struggling individuals and families in Dane County. To learn more about food drives and how you can help plan and hold a successful food drive for The River, visit our food drive kit.
