The River has been humbled to continue a partnership with the Monsanto Fund since 2015. The Monsanto Fund focuses their partnerships in areas such as Food & Nutrition, Education, and Community Development. Since 2015, we have been able to maintain our daily operations of feeding over 1,000 households in Dane County. Just this year alone our we have served over 18,000 hot community meals. The support from the Monsanto Fund has been vital to continue to ensure a vision of a fully nourished community.

Bill Boor, a Testing and Operations Manager in Vegetable Seeds Research at the Monsanto DeForest Branch, said that “we are glad to partner with a group such as yours that does so much for good for our community.” Bill has been connected to The River for the last three years and has supported us through donations of fresh produce as well as the continued support of the Fund, The River is grateful for the continued partnership through the Monsanto Fund.
