The River Food Pantry is thrilled to announce it has received the Bronze Award for Best Volunteer Opportunity through Madison Magazine’s Best of Madison Awards!

“We are so honored to receive this recognition!” said Rhonda Adams, Executive Director of The River. “This award truly belongs to every single volunteer who has shared their time, energy, heart and hands to our mission.”

Every year, The River works with thousands of volunteers to help nourish Dane County households experiencing food insecurity. Last year alone, 2,909 volunteers gave 41,370 service hours.
