The River Food Pantry has been voted Best Charitable Organization through the Madison.com 2021 People Choice Awards.

Since opening in 2006, The River has become South Central Wisconsin’s busiest food pantry. Originally serving only a handful of households, today The River serves over 1,000 Dane County households per week—and counting.
The River’s free services include:
- Weekly groceries for curbside pickup or delivery
- Online grocery orders
- Freshly prepared to-go meals
- Mobile lunches for children and adults in low-income neighborhoods
