The River Hosts School Supplies Drive | The River Food Pantry

While we hate to admit it, summer will come to an end. But that means school will begin. As many students return to in-person learning, The River Food Pantry is hosting a community-wide school supplies drive in collaboration with the Northside Planning Council.

As you browse the aisles or enjoy some online shopping, think about adding some school supplies to your cart.

You can drop off donations at either FEED Kitchens, 1219 N. Sherman Ave., or The River Food Pantry, 2201 Darwin Dr., during the hours listed below. Both locations will be accepting donations until Sept. 1. In addition, your name will be entered in a drawing, and six donors will receive a box of FEED Bakery cookies.

Drop-off details:

  • FEED Kitchens: Monday‒Friday, 8am‒4:30 pm. If you have a large donation (over 30 lbs.), call Martee at 608-843-0515 to coordinate a pickup, if needed.
  • The River Food Pantry: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:30 am‒3:30pm, and Wednesday, 11 am‒6 pm.

Thank you for supporting your Northside neighbors’ education!
