The River’s Updates in Response to Air Quality – Thurs, June 29 | The River Food Pantry

In response to continued unhealthy air quality levels today, Thursday, June 29, The River has made the following decisions to keep everyone safe.

  • Our mobile meals program, Munch, is canceled.
  • All our other programs will continue to run, including curbside groceries, FAM, ePantry and River Delivers.
  • Curbside groceries will not offer a menu to choose your groceries from. This means all groceries will be prepackaged and no food will be stationed outside.
  • All staff must wear a mask when outside. Volunteers are strongly encouraged to wear one as well.

We encourage all clients to bring a beverage and keep your vehicle windows closed while you wait in our curbside distribution line. Please be patient with us as we do our best to serve you.

Please continue to check our website and social media for updates.

Thank you,
The River Staff
