Paul’s Story | The closest thing I have to community | The River Food Pantry

“The River is the closest thing I have to community. As a shopper and a volunteer, I feel grateful for the food, having a safe place to go, and having something worthwhile to do. I sort bags, registration numbers, and food. I also weigh food, wash dishes, and set up chairs. If I see anything else that needs to be done, like taking out the trash, I just do it.”
