Emergency Day Warming Center in Downtown Madison | The River Food Pantry

First United Methodist Church, located at 203 Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Madison, will host an emergency day warming center on Mon., Jan. 28–Fri., Feb. 1 from 8:00 am–4:00 pm for families and women experiencing homelessness.

The warming center will provide a safe, hospitable space for families and single women in light of the major winter storm and hazardous weather alert. Meals, children’s activities, child care assistance, and a space for rest, warmth and relaxation will be offered.

The Beacon will shuttle guests:

  • From The Salvation Army to First United Methodist Church at 8:00 am
  • From First United Methodist Church to The Salvation Army at 3:00 pm
